All About Treeview

Treeview/Bidwell Elementary School is a place where greatness is expected and nurtured.  Students are provided a rigorous curriculum to ensure that each student reaches his and her fullest potential as learners. Our school is composed of two campuses: Bidwell is for students in kindergarten through first grade, with one 1/2 combination class.  Bidwell also provides bilingual education for selected kindergartners through second graders. Treeview is for students in grades two through six. The campuses work together to provide activities for students. Our highly integrated curriculum focuses on cultural pluralism and good citizenship. Our school staff is dedicated to developing the whole child through literature, athletics, the arts, science, and mathematics. We guide students to be reflective thinkers and problem solvers and to develop strong oral and written communication skills. We use technology to enhance student achievement. We also help each student become a lifelong learner and attain the skills that are necessary in our global society. Our goal is to guarantee that when our students leave Treeview/Bidwell, they are competitive with their peers.

Parent Involvement: Parents are ALWAYS welcome and encouraged to join the Treeview/Bidwell family by participating in our PTA, School Site Council, ELAC and generally helping on campus.  Please call our school office if you would like to assist in any way.

Breakfast and Lunch

Breakfast will be served at both schools 15 minutes prior to the start of the school day. The price is $1.  Lunch will be served each day for $2.  Please fill out a Free or Reduced Lunch Form prior to the start of school and return all forms by September 30, 2011.

Treeview/Bidwell Logo Wear

Every Friday is School Spirit Day!  Wear your logo wear.  Logo wear will be available for purchase in each school office and parent center the first week of school and throughout the year.

Attendance

Every second counts!  In an effort to increase student achievement at Treeview/Bidwell, we ask that parents send their students to school every day and have students remain at school for the entire instructional day.
